Two arrested for alleged religious conversion
Chitradurga city police apprehended two persons for allegedly attempting religious conversion to Christianity through enticement. The suspects were conducting a gathering at a residence in Prashant Nagar, Chitradurga, where they purportedly engaged in conversion activities. Following a complaint lodged by Deepak Raj, who alleged that the accused were making offensive remarks against Hindu beliefs and offering incentives for religious conversion to Christianity, the police took action. Acting upon this complaint, authorities conducted a raid and took into custody Dhananjay, 35, and Joshua Israel, 20. Chitradurga city police station registered a formal case regarding this incident
